NDU Press

As described by the American Forces Press Service:

The NDU Press in Fort McNair's National Defense University publishes the insights and ideas of writers in the national security community as part of the university's outreach program. For their audience of service members, academics and defense decision makers, NDU Press publications are a chance to learn from the experts and the experienced. The press publishes 10 to 12 books, monographs and reports each year, and puts out the full-color, glossy-paged Joint Force Quarterly, as well as several dozen current affairs newsletters, many at no charge to the public.

The 2010 Congressional Breakfast Seminar Series

Twenty five years ago, Peter Huessy started a seminar series on Capitol Hill for members of Congress and their staff to discuss critical issues such as nuclear deterrence, the Soviet threat, and what the proper U.S. defense policy should be. The seminars offered policy makers an alternative forum for a calm and rational discussion of critical national security topics. Today, the Congressional Breakfast Seminar Series is one of the longest running and most respected seminars in D.C.
