and faculty of NDU. Also in the audience were Secretary of
Defense Robert Gates, Vice Chairman of the JCS, General James

NDU Receives Prestigious Award from the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff |

At an All-Hands ceremony on January 12,
2010, NDU President Vice Admiral Ann E. Rondeau accepted a Joint
Meritorious Unit Award for the University signed by Admiral Mike
Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The
award cited NDU's "exceptionally meritorious achievement …
unrivaled by any other institution" in educating strategic leaders from
government, private industry, the U.S. Armed Services and the
international community from January 2004 to January 2009. >>View
