NDU's Outstanding Alumni Promotions
This summer saw many General and Flag Officer Assignment announcements by President Barack Obama.  A sizable number of promotions and senior leadership assignments were designated to NDU alumni, once again proving the caliber of individuals that attend this remarkable institution.

Most notably, General James N. Mattis, USMC, graduate of NDU's National War College, was promoted to commander of United States Central Command replacing General David Petraeus, USA.

Congratulations to all of our alumni who have received promotions. We wish you all the best in your new assignments.
